On June 21, 2024 a complaint was filed with the FEC accusing Phony Pfeifer of violating the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 and Federal Election Commission regulations by actively soliciting funds while failing to file a Statement of Candidacy within fifteen days of becoming a candidate for United States House of Representatives in Missouri.
The FEC acknowledged receipt of the complaint on June 25, 2024.
In 2012, Phony Pfeifer filed for bankruptcy. In his petition, Phony Pfeifer disclosed $28,321.50 in total assets and $615,924.00 in total liabilities, including several large bank and credit card debts, $3,000 owed to the IRS, $15,000 owed to his employer, and $50,000 owed to his mother.
